Ava Community Energy (Ava) invites proposals for the implementation of a comprehensive Climate, Renewable Energy and Electrification Education Grant for Primary and Middle Schools. The objective of this initiative is to enhance students’ understanding of climate change solutions, renewable energy, and electrification, fostering environmental consciousness, and promoting sustainable practices and climate change awareness from an early age (ages 5–14).

The selected organization will be responsible for designing and implementing an educational initiative that covers topics such as climate change, renewable energy, and electrification technologies. Education should be age-appropriate for primary (elementary) and middle school students, encouraging interactive and engaging learning experiences.

One recipient will be awarded a grant of up to $300,000.00, over three years. Funds may be used for the purposes of, yet not limited to, developing educational materials, hiring personnel, procuring resources and materials necessary to meet grant goals. If you wish to collaborate with another organization, proposals from partnerships between organizations will also be considered.
