RFP for Community Investment Grant (2024-2027) for Development and Operation of Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations within Ava’s Service Area
Ava Community Energy is seeking proposals from qualified organizations for the development and operation of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations within Ava’s service area, Alameda and San Joaquin Counties. The grant aims to empower communities by fostering local ownership and innovation in EV infrastructure, promoting sustainability and electric mobility. The selected organization will be responsible for identifying and developing community-based EV charging sites, implementing a sustainable business model for station operation, and promoting clean transportation access. The grant, totaling up to $300,000 over three years, targets diverse communities and encourages collaboration with local stakeholders.
