Ava is making a difference — both by selling greener energy and by investing in the community. As a public agency, we do not have shareholders. Instead, we return excess revenue to the communities we serve in the form of:

    • Offering rates that are 5% lower than PG&E rates

    • Issuing $50 bill credits annually to customers on CARE or FERA income-qualifying rates when budgets allow

    • Issuing bill credits to all customers when budgets allow

    • Offering local sponsorships to community groups

    • Sponsoring the local events that make our communities shine
    • Providing large, multi-year Community Investment Grants to local community based organizations
