Part of Ava’s mission is to reinvest our revenue directly into East Bay and Valley communities. We do this in several ways, including community grants and local sponsorships.
Community Investment Grants
Ava offers multi-year grants to organizations within our service area through a competitive solicitation process. The average grant term is up to $300,000 over three years.
Community Sponsorships
Three times per year, Ava issues sponsorships of up to $2,500 each to dozens of local organizations to help make our community shine.

We are a proud sponsor of Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley and Sequoia Grove: a groundbreaking, fully electric community for low-income households in Hayward.
