Request for Qualification (RFQ) for Energy Resilient Municipal Critical Facilities PV & BESS Infrastructure Project

Ava Community Energy (Ava) is seeking responses to Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from  design-build entities (DBE) to qualify a list of experienced companies to design and construct a project consisting of six (6) to twenty one (20) for up to 2.13MW Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems and up to 5.15MWh battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Ava’s service area, as more fully described in RFQ. Ava will be the project owner.

Ava seeks to include renewable energy generation and/or storage systems in its power portfolio over time. This portfolio is comprised of small to medium commercial PV and BESS of 25KW to 400KW PV and 80kWh – 800kWh BESS. This allows Ava to solicit qualifications from companies to develop PV and/or BESS. This Project will be the first of these renewable energy generation and/or storage systems.
