Downtown San Leandro invites you Downtown to the 27th Annual “It’s a Wonderful Night” holiday celebration! Ring in the holidays with the annual tree lighting, holiday performances, photos with Santa, holiday train rides, crafts for kids, holiday market, and more! This family-friendly event will take place on Friday, December 6th, from 4:30-9:00 PM. The holiday tree lighting will be at 5:30 PM in Estudillo Plaza at Estudillo Ave at E. 14th Street, and the main event will be centered around W. For 29 years, the annual Oakland Día de los Muertos Festival has welcomed tens of thousands of visitors to the vibrant, culturally-rich Fruitvale neighborhood for a free, outdoor, family-friendly event taking place to commemorate the Mexican traditions around the Día de los Muertos. Festival attendees enjoy world-class live music, family-friendly games, rides and activities, traditional Latin American artisans, and the stunning altares created by community members paying homage to los Muertos. Ava will be tabling at the event.

Lincoln Summer Nights is a monthly multi-generational (seniors and youth) community building event in partnership with many other Oakland Chinatown organizations. The event series focuses on bringing art, culture, games, and other services and resources to youth, families, seniors, and the community. Ava is a sponsor and will be tabling at the event.

Oaktoberfest in the Diamond is one of the Bay Area’s premiere craft-beer festivals boasting over 200 craft beers to choose from, but it’s not only about the brews. The festival boasts five stages jam packed with amazing artists like Artelia Green & the Bandanas, Valerie Troutt & MoonCandy, Anita Lofton and MacArthur Maze to name a few. There is an entire street dedicated to kids and family attractions with a root beer garden where root beer floats abound. There will also be hundreds of vendors with clothes, crafts and of course plenty of great food options. Ava will be tabling on Sunday of the event.

Emeryville’s Harvest Festival is an annual tradition that embodies the city’s commitment to bringing its residents together. This day celebrates the unity and diversity that make our community truly exceptional. Ava will be tabling alongside the city of Emeryville and handing out branded picnic blankets!

Science in the Park is a biennial event hosted by Supervisor Elisa Márquez and created by the late Supervisor Richard Valle. It is an opportunity for the community to learn more about STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math), the environment, and health, while having fun and supporting the school districts in District 2. Ava will be tabling as a sponsor of the event.

Newark Days is a four-day festival held to commemorate the birthday of the City of Newark, California held every year in September. Ava will be tabling at the community information faire, alongside other non-profit organizations and government agencies serving Newark residents.
