Whether it’s your first time on an e-bike or you’re ready to upgrade, this free community event is the perfect place to explore your options and your chance to test ride a variety of e-bikes, meet local bike shops, access free bike education and safety resources and learn about Ava Bike Electric rebates.

Join us for Town Nights, a series of free community events. With a focus on community cohesion and fostering unity, Town Nights offers safe spaces for families, friends, and neighbors to come together and enjoy free food, music, games, and more. Ava is sponsoring Mandela Partners to provide free food for this event. Ava will also be bringing an informational table.

Ava Community Energy (Ava) has partnered with Emerald Cities Collaborative (ECC) and Local Clean Energy Alliance (LCEA) to support the Resilience Hub Initiative. This initiative provides technical assistance (TA) to help community-serving facilities explore resilience-focused solar and battery storage solutions, along with funding opportunities for qualifying resilience hub projects. This event will be led by Local Clean Energy Alliance & Emerald Cities Collaborative and hosted and in partnership with Glad Tidings International, Green the Church, California Interfaith Power & Light, and the City of Hayward.

The annual Hayward Juneteenth Freedom Celebration is presented by the West Coast Blues Society and Juneteenth Hayward at Mt Eden High School on Saturday, June 20. The downtown event features a blues festival lineup, a variety of food vendors, beer and wine garden, and community programming honoring Russell City and Hayward’s African American heritage.

Oakland Soul is a Purpose-driven women’s soccer team that will be an elite pathway to pro soccer, providing not only a high-quality training environment but also protecting and empowering players so they are nourished both physically and mentally. Ava, the club’s official clean energy partner, has been a sponsor of Oakland Roots and Oakland Soul since each team’s inception. We will be tabling at this home game, providing general information about Ava.

The City of Fremont’s Human Services Department in partnership with the City’s Human Relations commission and The Fremont Main Library invite the community to the Third Annual Fremont Pride Fair. Ava will be tabling and providing informational literature about us.

Bike to Wherever Day is Bike East Bay’s biggest community event of the year, with thousands of bicyclists of all ages and paths of life taking to the streets to show their support for two-wheeled transportation. Ava will be a hosting an afternoon energizer station across from Snow Park, handing out BTWD goodie bags, playing music, and providing snacks and water! Ava is a sponsor of Bike to Wherever Day.
